Each time that I got a brand new miniature I’d really like to begin painting straight away. However, the practice of preparing the miniature, before placing any paint in it, has enormous effect on the last impact.

Now I will demonstrate on behalf of den of imagination, the way to prepare a mini for painting.

Let us begin cutting all components and inserting pins and following — surrounded.

The very first step will be to cut on back the components from the framework.

Don’t cut the framework also near the component. It is far better to leave a little the framework and following that cut it away using an accuracy knife.

Not one of these miniatures is ideal and there’s always a room for advancement. In this event I made a decision to form the pickaxe a little otherwise. For the purpose I used accuracy knife and a document.

I brush leaf miniatures thoroughly to eliminate all unneeded particles that may get beneath the base coat.

Next step: inserting pins. Personally I’m not fond of using just a glue to place mini together. I add little pins which permit me to match better all components together.

I really do miniature holes with a little drill in most areas, that’ll be utilized to join components. In addition, I drill a few holes at the bottom of every component to make it simpler when mounting it to a parcel of painting cork.

“Adding hooks is not needed, but it is only my personal favorite way.”

Then I check if all of the components fit neatly with them. If that’s the case, I am about this next Measure: mounting all components on the painting leaf.

This time I will require a little more piece of cable. For my convenience I’ve placed several drops of glue over the part of vinyl. Now I could easily dip 1 end of this cable in adhesive and set it in the drilled hole. I use pliers while incorporating the end of the wire to your cork to prevent bending the cable.
